When our national hero said the youth is the hope of our future, either he was referring to himself or he just didn’t know any better. Looking at today’s generation of young people, you can tell that the future is actually crumbling because of them. Here, I will list down the types of youth which are the bane of our existence.
DotA Boys
The thing about the social gaming culture is that, aside from keeping kids away from books, there doesn’t seem to be much harm in joining the craze. When you play DotA or HoN or LoL, not only do you get better in strategy or even leadership, but you also make friends.
Why are DotA Boys so bad then? The answer would be because Dota Boys don’t do anything but play the mentioned competitive games. They pay very little attention to school, which consequently leaves them unarmed for greater challenges other than usurping the enemy base.
DotA Boys end up being the cannon fodder of society, relegated to mindless labor and American cock-sucking factories known as call centers. The only future they can bring to the country is a future of corporate slaves and blue collar trash.
Gossip Girls
It’s no secret that, thanks to the media and an ever so malleable society, the population is becoming less conservative and more “open-minded”. Sadly, by open-minded I don’t mean people are learning how to use their brains constructively. Instead of open-minded, they open their legs more, even at a younger age.
Gossip Girls are a breed of today’s youth that are into, well, Gossip Girl. If you haven’t heard of Gossip Girl, it’s basically a novel series for teens about being rich and using your financial and social status to get as much dick as you can. Popularized by its TV show adaptation which features making out every 5 minutes, Gossip Girl has been turning prepubescent innocent virgins into sex freaks.
Gossip Girls talk about relationships whenever they get a chance to open their filthy mouths. They play games that adults may also play in beerhouse VIP rooms. Their truth-or-dare is always very daring, to say the least.
These bimbos may be better than DotA Boys in the sense that they can actually land decent jobs such as HR officers or magazine editors (mostly in Candy or Cosmo), but they’re the virus that makes the church fear the RH Bill so much. Gossip Girls think promiscuity, breathe promiscuity, and spread promiscuity. Sure, they spread gossip too, when they’re not too busy riding the dick of the newest “hottie” in town.
Social Networking Whores
When you say Facebook or Twitter, self-respecting adults shake their heads in shame. Social networking websites gave birth to a menace that will forever plague the Internet. Social networking websites gave birth to Social Networking Whores.
In this day and age, with so many entertainment options available on a performance PC with a fast Internet connection, more young people are growing up to be shut-ins. The worst class of shut-ins are the 4channers, a scornful bunch of juvenile kids who frequent frivolous and politically incorrect websites such as 4chan.
Eventually, 4channers become worse than their video game/anime nerd siblings. They think it’s funny to make fun of dead people, they have a selection of despicable fetishes, and they’re increasingly devoid of human element as time goes by.

DOTA boys , weve all seen them and we either love or hate them. DOTA boys range from the casual DOTA gamer who sneaks in a few hours each day , skipping a class or two to play the game. Or the hardcore DOTA-neers who devote the entire class day , and the week for that matter , to the game. Strategy and Leadership – now I have seen my share of good DOTA commanders , but frankly most players are nothing but hyped up gamers screaming “stun!” at the top of their lungs.If only they can apply these Strategy and Leadership skills that they learn from the game into society. But for most DOTA boys , the pc shop is their society , the latest map patch is their reality.
And frankly how can they even land call center jobs when most of their vocabulary consists of trash talking and screams of “stun mo !”? (though I guess I must digress on this since Ive heard my share of DOTA players trash talking in passable english.) But that’s just me.

My younger bro plays dota, but he’s the geeky,nerdy type. Quiet and doesn’t skip class. Naiiritate lang ako sa DotA players like you described–they would be in computer shops all day yelling and being noisy and, *gasp* they’d be shirtless, to boot.

Then your brother belongs to the rare breed of Dota players who have managed to balance his Dota playing with his responsibilities in life , kudos to him. People shouldnt skip class, that leads to the path of destruction , trust me on this. lol.
I share your sentiments on the noisy Dota players, I mean a little trash talk is fine with me, but when theyre all screaming like banshees its just not proper . People around them are also paying customers who more or less deserve a little peace and quiet.

As an experienced DotA player, the truth about DotA players deserve credit. However, not all DotA boys (or some girls, for that matter) are irresponsible with studies, myself included. I also have a couple of DotA-playing friends who are on the high tier of their class.
TT (trashtalking) is already part of any DotA game. Shouting is always present, especially if the game is between friends. More so or less if it goes to higher levels (pustahan/S2S). Being one of them, I’ve gotten used to it, but they should consider the other “sensitive” users inside the shop.

Trash talking is tolerable for me, it even gets entertaining at times.I just never got used to the shouts I guess. Its admirable that there are people like you who can balance business and pleasure, but sadly there are more of the other breed of DOTA players the ones who cut their time for education just so they can get the next monster kill.

ummm… i just want to say and CLARIFY that never judge all the cosplayers as one… each one is unique and has different personalities as people.. if you only know or experience being with them or even experienced cosplay… its a hobby that gives cosplayers the creativity and skill, and the effort to pursue what they want to achieve in order give they’re best in portraying a character…:)
oh yeah! not all spend they’re lives making costumes!! FYI, making costume would be a plus skill on fashion designing if you apply it as work and props making? you can benifit from it when your studying for industrial design course on college, without the industrial designers/product desugners, the cool furnitures or useful tools your using today, wouldn’t exist..:D
