Just be careful and avoid mechapinoy website/ FB page at all times. You can view the tips there but if you ever make one mistake such as:
Showing off a non painted kit
painting a kit with markers
painting a kit with spray cans
question abut the internal policy of contests
asking about bendi and other class A stuff
They will ridicule you to death and then when you are butthurt they will ban you.

As a guy doing gunpla for a while, what did happen to dc23 and MP? I’m kinda curious about it.
Also, nice recommendation on FichtenFoo. His builds are insanely awesome. For Shadowstriker, I’d also recommend Toymaker, Eday/Ver.Ed (the man is insane with Zeta variants), Gamerabaenre, NGT Factory too. Also Gunpla-inochi.com.
Note on Class A stuff. Never ever join official competitions with them. If on an FB group or forum, the general rule is: if they say it’s okay to discuss them, then it’s okay. If not, then not.

Ramirez, yung mga rants ni DC23 wala na sa blog niya but from what I know, the MP people blacklisted Suratos from their forum and there was an incident between them in December 2009 at a certain event. a little googling will turn up surprises.
As for MP taking the offensive, a guy named Mike Tan produced a bunch of cartoons lambasting Suratos. From DC23′s POV, they’re ganging up on him because he was really that good in gunpla modeling. Obviously, you can’t keep a good man down kaya siya nagtatag ng MACFORUMS. They didn’t even bother to mention Don when he won a BAKUC event in 2010.

Like mike abundo, wala namang napatunayan si polidario sa mundo ng cosplay. Making costumes is NOT cosplaying. if it was, dapat matagal nang may awards sa mga cons sila Regine Tolentino, Cargins, Dencio costumes, should’ve been given awards and should also be the “elites” of philippine cosplay.
